I-Park is pleased to announce its first residency session specifically devoted to inter-disciplinary and collaborative projects. The lead project for this residency is Proto-Gonzo, curated by artist Marco Dessardo. Proto-Gonzo will be the first curated art project at I-Park.
But, subject to available space, I-Park will entertain additional, separate proposals for team projects that are inter-disciplinary in character and/or help expose the mechanism of the collaborative process.
Artists/practitioners from the following fields are welcome to submit proposals:
Visual Arts
Music Composition/Sound Sculpture/Design
Landscape/Garden Design
Language Arts
Moving Image
Performance Art
Photography
This session reflects I-Park’s growing interest in inter-disciplinary creative practices and could be a proto-type for future initiatives in this area.
An expanded Open Studios event on July 30, 2011 will showcase the work product and process of the various collaborations.
